BOOK HOUSE

The idea of a renovated house Célières dedicated to books and literature Caledonian date of 2001. From the outset, it is necessary that actors have in the book Caledonian own a place dedicated to the creation and reflection, interface with the public, but also a tool for professionals.

In this perspective, the Book House in New Caledonia wants everything at once:
· a historic place and media iconic (known to all and easily visible from the street) to protect and transmit to future generations;
· center contemporary resources (database updated: catalog all books published and freely available, available to the public of all contacts, help and home permanents) with a territorial and open to all;
· a creative element (homes of writers, writing workshops and / or bookbinding);
· pole animation (programming a season of actions to be undertaken over the year on and off the walls in Noumea in the interior and to the islands);
· a hub of discussion and exchange between communities and associations that operate mostly independently of each other.

The purpose of the Book House is, in fact, federate, to network and synergy (both local and abroad, in conjunction with agencies similar) multiple partners of the book - but not replace the existing structures and their missions - to enhance coordination actors in their book projects in the medium and long term.

Thus, one of the major issues House of Paper is to help develop New Caledonia a concerted policy of the book and reading by the introduction of a reflection and ongoing cooperation between key stakeholders in the book, private (editors, writers, animators reading, broadcasters, distributors, booksellers ...) associations, and public (Government of New Caledonia, provinces, Mission Cultural Affairs, City of Noumea, libraries, media). The

MLNC organizes on-site (or in reception areas, across New Caledonia), various manifestations: signatures, lectures, residencies, internships, workshops, meetings between the stakeholders in the book and the general public.

In the same vein, MLNC must facilitate access to information and counseling, provide logistical support for beginning writers or not, promote local literary heritage, and of course, encourage a love of reading and enjoyment writing.

It is also for the associations members and guest writers and / or residence, place of assembly, design and animation. They will have to place all the necessary equipment (telephone, fax, broadband Internet, photocopier, computers, printers, scanners).

The chart includes four permanent :
o a director in charge of implementing the measures provided annually by the office and the general assembly, to link between different members of manage and facilitate structure;
o an assistant manager;
o a technical adviser on the book industry, responsible for promoting the book Caledonian;

o a home agent.

Jaw Imlpant Befor And After

THE ADDRESS OF THE SIGNING OF THE LEASE

Speech March 2, 2010 on the occasion of signing the lease House keeping Célières available to the association's House Book of New Caledonia . ________

Mr. Mayor, Mr.
Director of Cultural Affairs and customary, representing government,
Madam Representative of the State,
Madam Vice-President of the South Province,
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Friends
,

A year ago, almost to the day we were here to sign a letter of commitment to each other where you reaffirm, the Mayor, a firm commitment from the city of Noumea to provide House Paper Célières home. You reassured us as well - I quote - your "unwavering support for the life and fate of Caledonian Paper".

We were virtually no budget, no permanent, but united by a common conviction that writing, promotion, its editing, its distribution is needed, that writing is part of our history and our condition, that it is the founder of our being and our body secret society, as any text, I am sure his hand out of roots, remembers the future.

The bet was taken. One hundred actions and transactions have been planned and conducted in situ and in the bush: literary workshops in Lifou, Read through Caledonia, readings, show at the Centre Tjibaou, book presentations, conferences, round tables, exchanges with Vanuatu, literary cafes and exhibitions with the association writers and library Bernheim, tours in costume with a Past Evidence, as well as fruitful and numerous meetings with students and their teachers.

The government of New Caledonia and the Advisory Board of the Book and access to knowledge have been quick to validate MLNC as the "Center for the Book and the Writing of New Caledonia." The city, the Southern Province and the State have accompanied this process and are in turn invested. Here they are all thanked for their confidence and commitment.

remained to go to the next level: to ensure even better, through the pole Read a Country, in connection with the association of publishers, book promotion Caledonian assume our resources functions and advisory assistance to education aid applications, professionalize the book trade and information, integrating digital technologies, ensuring a steady increase in our actions and animations throughout.

On an island that produces between 80 and 90 pounds per year, in a country that has 13 literary awards, this issue and these goals are meaningful, because we all love passionately this earth and we all want to share to others.

This is the great challenge that we face this year with an increased capacity for work, a database of broader consultation and involvement even more of each member association.

Before concluding, I wish to acknowledge three people. First, that Gilbert Bladinières has defended this great project, having the guts to dream with us. And Cyril Pigeau, on the eve of his departure, he has led for 7 years the Department of Culture of the city. Thank you, Cyril, for your angelic patience, your unfailing respect, your taste for dialogue. Finally, I would like to introduce our new director - he has assumed his duties yesterday: Jean-Brice Peirano, I ask you to welcome and support, because the task is immense.

Some, I know, think or say impossible. It is a word I hear but as soon as I reject. What a great excuse to dispense with daring, not to do or not gestures. The impossible for us here, is not unattainable, the miracle daily renewed labor and the will to make the dream of life unite in the heart of man.

How To Stop Discharge With Rephresh

Absolute Moments of Contemplation

Because of Fishing Lake and the land on which a building is built tri-centenary (30 ha of land) were classified as "Sensitive Natural Area" (ENS), it was both essential and obvious to base the future on a hotel establishment concept ecolodge. Especially since this site offers real natural flora and fauna with the passage of migratory birds on the lake and more than 500 deer counted in the Massif de la Pinatelle but also stoats, martens, foxes ... It

order to optimize the natural heritage that the Community of communes of the Pays de Murat includes actions for the development of the site such as wildlife management fishery, open to fishing with the construction of a pontoon handipêche, creating a trail around the site with interpretive stations or a bird observatory.

For the same reason that we offer at the opening of the great escapes themed exploration and contemplation of nature with free access to the house as the center and the Pinatelle remarkable tool for interpretation Nature and territory of the volcano. Temporary exhibits, a scenic area dedicated to nature and landscapes cantaliens staged in innovative ways with new technology (big screen, relief model animated, touch screens ...) you will better understand the land of wide open spaces .

How Long Does The Effect Of Plan B

retain traditional varieties Polynesian coconut

We had the pleasure of receiving a letter from the association Te Mana O Te Moana, incorporating a decision of the family of Marlon Brando and Pacific Company Beachcomber SC.
This letter confirms the integration of five blocks of the famous atoll of Tetiaroa, which was acquired for 99 years by actor Marlon Brando, in the conservatory project "POLYMOTU.

Five varieties of traditional Polynesian coconut Tetiaroa will therefore be kept at a rate of one variety per block.

The "Polymotu" provides for the planting of 25 varieties of coconut over fifty islands and remote valleys and the fact of starting with a symbolic dimension Tetiaroa gives very positive project.
That said, we still have another 45 islands and valleys to find ....
For more information on the project Polymotu, check the blog: http://polymotu.blogspot.com/
